7. Evaluate and improve

→ Once your service has been designed, the service will be able to be evaluated and then improved.

Evaluate your service

An evaluation will help you:

  • to know where you stand;
  • identify areas for improvement.

The evaluation matrix we suggest you to use is the captology evaluation matrix form Designers éthiques (French), in Creative Common.

It allows you to know, through a list of questions, the overall score of the service and the areas for improvement.

This score should be correlated with the scores of other services offering something similar to yours.

Improve iteratively

The next step is to improve your service iteratively.

To do this, you can use:

  • elements gathering during the evaluation phase;
  • feedback from your customers/users;
  • user tests carried out previously.

These various elements can be added to your project roadmap or backlog.

You will have all the ingredients you need to improve your service as you go along, to make it more user-friendly.
